The proud mother of Sloane, Schuyler, and Stefan, married to fellow Rice graduate, Sten Gustafson, Sofia has been recognized for her public service by the City of Houston with a proclamation of July 4, 2004 as “Sofia Adrogué Day.”
Sten Gustafson is a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he serves as Head of Energy, Americas, and has global responsibility for the oilfield service sector. Prior to entering investment banking in 1995, Sten was a corporate and securities attorney with the international law firms of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and Baker Botts.
Both Sten and his wife, Sofia Adrogué, remain very involved with multiple boards and organizations at Rice University. In addition to coaching his son’s various sports teams, Sten currently serves on the Boards of both the Houston Grand Opera and Boys & Girls Country.
